Developed in close collaboration with the owners and branding team, Vrymansfontein reinterprets the traditional South African winelands experience through a contemporary lens. The design draws on the history and character of the site while introducing a refined architectural language that feels current, understated and deeply connected to its setting.

The estate brings together a collection of distinct food and beverage experiences, including the fine dining restaurant SCAPE, The Tree Bar and The Tasting Bar. While each venue has its own identity and atmosphere, they are united through a shared material palette, considered detailing and a cohesive design approach. The result is a hospitality destination that balances heritage and innovation, creating a modern winelands experience rooted in place.
